By the Independence Day of Ukraine, the NAVI fan zone will be opened at the Hotel Ukraine. It will be open from August 24 to September 6.
The Maincast studio announced this on its social networks.
Guests will be able to take pictures with the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 championship cup, as well as take part in the draw for official NAVI merchandise.
The fan zone has become part of the initiatives of the ARS Capital ecosystem of Maksym Krippa, aimed at popularizing Ukrainian esports.
Admission will be free.
As a reminder, on March 31, 2024, the Ukrainian organization NAVI won the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 — the first major in the history of Counter-Strike 2. The team became the first in history to win a tournament of this level in the new version of the game. Before that, NAVI had already won the title of major champions, but back in the days of CS:GO.
NAVI played at least eight matches on the way to the championship. The team gradually gained form and confidence, and despite the difficult path, they eventually reached the main trophy of the tournament. NAVI received $500,000 in prize money for their victory.
What other activities were prepared at the Hotel Ukraine remains a secret. At the same time, NAVI is once again organizing a fan initiative for its supporters in Ukraine. In addition to regular watch parties, the team is constantly inventing new formats to please its audience.
The Hotel Ukraine belongs to Ukrainian entrepreneur Maksym Krippa. He purchased the property in September 2024 at a privatization auction and has been developing it ever since.
The hotel is a 16-story, four-star complex located on Alley of Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, 4 in Kyiv. At one time, it was one of the tallest skyscrapers in modern Ukraine.
Maksym Krippa also owns NAVI, Burny Games, GSC Game World, which recently released DLC for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, Maincast studio, and other assets.
