For the first time in history, the Ukrainian organization NAVI will field its League of Legends roster at an international tournament. The team secured a spot in the 2026 Demacia Cup Global Invitational following its performance in the 2026 LEC Summer Playoffs.
In a lower bracket match to qualify for Worlds 2026, NAVI faced Movistar KOI and lost 1–3. Prior to that, the team defeated GIANTX 3–2. In the LEC regular season, the team finished the group stage with a 5–4 record.
Despite their loss in the World Championship, this result was a historic one for the club. NAVI earned the opportunity to compete in an international League of Legends tournament.
The 2026 Demacia Cup Global Invitational will take place from October 3 to 17. Twelve teams from six regions will compete, and the total prize pool will be 1.5 million Chinese yuan, or about $223,000.
Among the confirmed participants are Team Vitality, LGD Gaming, FEARX, KT Rolster, Team WE, BRION, JD Gaming, and GAM Esports. The tournament will begin with an online stage, after which the top eight teams will advance to the playoffs in Beijing.
The championship prize is 600,000 yuan—approximately $89,200. Second place will earn 400,000 yuan, and the semifinalists will each receive 175,000 yuan.
