NAVI has received a direct invite to PGL Wallachia Season 9 for Dota 2. The tournament in Bucharest will be one of the team’s first major tests of the new season.
The ninth season of PGL Wallachia will take place September 17–27. Sixteen teams will compete for the championship, and the total prize pool for the competition will be $1,000,000.
To start, participants will play a Swiss stage in a best-of-3 format. The teams that advance will continue the competition in the playoffs using a double-elimination bracket.

For NAVI, this will be just the beginning of a busy stretch of the season. The Ukrainian organization has already secured its spot in the next two online tournaments, BLAST SLAM VIII and BLAST SLAM IX. The first will take place from September 29 to October 11, and the second from November 20 to 29. Teams will compete for $750,000 in prize money at each event.
NAVI heads into PGL Wallachia Season 9 with recent trophies under its belt. The team won the EPL Masters I and EPL Masters II championships and now has the opportunity to continue its winning streak.
