fnatic and Nemiga were the last teams to qualify for the main event of Stake Ranked Episode 4. Both teams secured their spots through the closed European qualifier.
The tournament itself will take place from October 1 to 4 in Barcelona. A $100,000 prize pool is up for grabs. In addition to fnatic and Nemiga, six other teams that received direct invites will compete in the LAN stage: FaZe, Astralis, B8, BIG, Luminosity, and Alliance.
For fnatic, the qualifiers were far from a walk in the park. The team had to play three maps in each of their three matches. In their opening series against Virtus.pro, fnatic found themselves on the brink of defeat, trailing 5–12, but managed to turn the tide of the game. The match against BBL was just as nerve-wracking—the European team nearly squandered a 10–2 lead. Ultimately, fnatic advanced to the decisive series, where they faced off against Ninjas in Pyjamas for a spot in the tournament.
Nemiga, for its part, advanced through the qualifiers more confidently. The team began its run with a narrow victory over Iberian Soul, then defeated Nemesis and FOKUS, with both matches ending 2–0.
This result holds special significance for Nemiga. The team will return to the international LAN scene for the first time in over a year, making Stake Ranked Episode 4 its first such tournament in a long time.
The following teams will compete in the tournament:
- B8
- fnatic
- FaZe
- Alliance
