NAVI representative Luis Guadalupe “DarkAngel” Castillo Gómez will compete in the Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves tournament at the CEO 2026 festival. The tournament will take place in Orlando (USA) on August 14–16, and participants will compete for a share of the prize pool, which this time totals $14,460.
The championship will be held at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel, where players can expect three action-packed days of competition. A total of 246 esports athletes have registered for the tournament, all vying for the chance to be crowned the best in the discipline.
DarkAngel heads into CEO 2026 on the heels of one of the most successful performances of his career. Recently, the NAVI player won the Esports World Cup 2026 and took home the top prize of $250,000.
Luis is currently in excellent form, so another strong performance is expected from him at the upcoming tournament. He will aim to reaffirm his status as one of the top players on the Fatal Fury scene and delight NAVI fans.
DarkAngel’s Results Since Joining NAVI
DarkAngel has been playing for NAVI since May 14, 2025, and during that time, the Mexican player has already become one of the club’s most successful competitors in the Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves discipline.
NAVI began competing in this discipline on May 25, 2024, and over the course of their participation, the team has earned approximately $428,798 in prize money. DarkAngel was responsible for a significant portion of this total—his victory at the 2026 Esports World Cup earned the player and the organization $250,000.
During his time with NAVI, Luis Castillo Gomez achieved a series of notable results. These include a victory at GEMA LIVE, which earned him a spot at the EWC 2026; a second-place finish at DreamHack Birmingham 2026; and the championship title at the year’s premier tournament—the Esports World Cup 2026.
In addition to the large prize pool, his victory at the EWC secured DarkAngel a spot in the finals of the SNK World Championship 2026 in Fatal Fury. At this tournament, which will take place November 27–29 in Stockholm, participants will compete for a record-breaking prize pool of $2.5 million for the discipline.
It’s worth noting that DarkAngel also demonstrated a high level of play on the Fatal Fury scene last year. At the 2025 Esports World Cup, the Mexican player took third place, earning NAVI 500 club points in the organization’s standings.
