The Liquid organization has announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 starting lineup: Polish captain Kamil “siuhy” Shkaradek has been moved to the bench. This brings to an end his 15-month stint as a starter on the team.
Johnny “JT” Theodosiou will take siuhy’s place. The club has already added him to its roster for the second season of BLAST Bounty, although there has been no official announcement of the transfer yet.
The Polish player joined Liquid in April 2025, shortly after leaving MOUZ, where he had previously achieved the greatest successes of his career. However, he was unable to replicate those results with his new team.
The past few months have been extremely unsuccessful for Liquid. The team has consistently been eliminated in the group stage of tournaments, dropped in the VRS rankings, and failed to make an impact even at a series of second-tier LAN events. Due to its inconsistent results, the team barely retained its eligibility for Major invitations, which was likely one of the reasons behind the roster changes.
Liquid continues its rebuild following a disappointing season
Despite several roster changes, the team was unable to turn around its disappointing season. In 2026, Liquid made it to the playoffs only once—after the online group stage of the first season of BLAST Bounty. Meanwhile, the main tournament of the first half of the year, the IEM Cologne Major, ended in an early elimination for the team: they were knocked out in the first stage with a 2-3 record.
One of Liquid’s main problems was their performance on the attack. At the end of the season, the team posted one of the lowest win rates on the terrorist side among top-tier teams. This result stands in stark contrast to what Kamil “siuhy” Škaradek demonstrated while playing for MOUZ, where he was considered one of the strongest captains on the scene.
siuhy’s move to the bench marked the latest step in a major roster overhaul. Earlier, Liquid had already parted ways with Roland “ultimate” Tomkovyak, bringing in Georgi “Jorko” Mitev to replace him. Johnny “JT” Theodosiou is expected to be the next official addition to the roster.
The revamped roster won’t have much time to adjust. As early as July 24, Liquid will play their first official match with the new lineup, facing Vitality right away as part of the second season of BLAST Bounty.
