Not everyone manages to put together a team before the start of the qualifiers. That’s why the Ukrainian Esports Federation (UESF), in partnership with UDL, is launching a new participation format—a separate registration process for solo players.
Now, not only established teams but also those who haven’t yet found a team will have a chance to compete for a spot in the Ukrainian Dota 2 Championship. After the application period closes, the organizers will form teams themselves, taking into account each participant’s skill level.
This is the first time the UESF has undertaken such an initiative. Previously, the federation helped players find teammates through its own platforms; now, the organizers will handle the selection of teammates entirely on their own.
Teams will be formed based on several factors: current MMR, primary in-game role, and the overall skill level of the participants. This approach is intended to ensure that teams are as balanced and competitive as possible.
Participants can also look forward to an additional bonus. If a newly formed team manages to pass the open qualifiers and advance to the group stage, each of its players will receive 20 UDL ranking points.
Applications can be submitted until July 17 at 8:00 PM. To register, you must provide:
- first and last name;
- phone number;
- Discord username;
- current Dota 2 MMR;
- primary in-game position.
The Ukrainian Dota 2 Championship is the country’s premier official tournament for teams in this game. The tournament consists of open qualifiers, a group stage, and playoffs, where participants compete to determine the country’s strongest team. It is organized by the Ukrainian Esports Federation (UESF), which ensures transparent rules, professional organization, and equal conditions for all participants.
Importantly, participation in all UESF tournaments remains completely free. This is a great opportunity for those just starting out in competitive Dota 2, as well as for players who have long wanted to make their debut on the official stage but haven’t had a full roster.
